Skopje is the capital and largest city of North Macedonia, a country located in the Balkan Peninsula in Southeastern Europe.
City is situated on the Vardar River and surrounded by mountains, which makes it pretty scenery and offers both – explore old city and have some wanderings in the nature.
In the picture on the left there are the proof of it – as I am standing in the old town on the Stone Bridge, constructed in the mid 15th century, and behind me Vodno Mountain with Millennium Cross is visible.
